Beaches on the Island of Bali Indonesia Tour And Travel | Travel Information

Name        : Most Beautiful Beaches on the Island
Location   : BALI
Country    : Indonesia
This location is very beautiful and stunning highly inappropriate for a family vacation who want to travel. This location is ideal and will never regret after the visit.

Bali is an Indonesian island located in the westernmost end of the Lesser Sunda Islands, lying between Java to the west and Lombok to the east. It is one of the country's 33 provinces with the provincial capital at Denpasar towards the south of the island.
With a population recorded as 3,891,000 in 2010,[2] the island is home to most of Indonesia's small Hindu minority. In the 2000 census about 92.29% of Bali's population adhered to Balinese Hinduism while most of the remainder follow Islam. It is also the largest tourist destination in the country and is renowned for its highly developed arts, including traditional and modern dance, sculpture, painting, leather, metalworking, and music. Bali, a tourist haven for decades, has continually seen surge in tourist numbers in recent years.

Kuta Beach

Kuta, located in southern Bali, was a sleepy fishing village half a century ago, but it has slowly expanded since the 1960s after its long sandy beach was discovered by travellers from Asia and wandering surfers from nearby Australia.
Nowadays Kuta is quite busy and packed with varied accommodation from four-star hotels to budget hostels. Cheap bars and clubs make it a party centre, while local and international restaurants offer great dining. Kuta also offers shopping aplenty, from the chic beachfront ‘Discovery Shopping Mall’ and Kuta Square to the souvenir shops lining Jalan Kartika Plaza, Jalan Pantai Kuta and up to Legian and Seminyak – all within easy walking distance.
Kuta has its own beauty and attractions and remains one of Indonesia’s major tourist destinations; particularly during the peak season from July to August and the holiday season for Christmas and New Year: at these times Kuta will be fully booked by a local younger crowd, Asian travellers and Australian teenagers who are intent on enjoying an affordable vacation in Bali.

Seminyak Beach

A few miles north of Kuta is Seminyak which is the hippest part of southern Bali. More upmarket than Kuta and home to Bali's best bars, clubs and restaurants with new places opening almost weekly. Creative energy is the phrase that best sums up Seminyak, energy which also extends to the fashion boutiques.
Cool comes at a price, featuring strongly are world class hotels and resorts located next to the beach. Expect prices to be a little higher than Kuta.
 Diving In Bali
Discover the other side of Bali where the sand is black, dry and rocky but the deep blue ocean and the friendly locals more than make up for any romantic sense of loss.

Trapped between heaven and earth, Amed beach consist of villages stretching along the coast from Amed to the eastern tip of Bali called Selat, the place for those who love to uncover what lies beneath the ocean. Fruit plantations on the east side, bright colored fisherman boats on the shore, with that sight of running, endless horizon will definitely calm your body and soul in the deep embrace of Mother Nature. Where else can you enjoy the sunrise on a black sandy beach before taking a dive or snorkel at world-class diving spots, discover the wrecked US Liberty Navy Vessels from World War II, and then still have the stunning view of Gunung Agung to awe over?

Approximately a 1.5 hour drive from the Kuta-Legian area, Amed beach and the East Coast area have grown very fast over the past years. Many good hotels and restaurants are now available to pamper you on your holiday. For instance the “Mimpi Boutique Resort Dive Centers and Spa”, this Bali styled resort is for those dive enthusiasts located at the Tulamben, the northeastern coast of Bali. Alternatively you can try the Hotel Uyah with its unique facilities, which are built to save energy. They use a local-made solar heater, refill water in mineral water bottles to limit the plastic waste. Support the locals who are selling their salts and you can even have an A to Z explanation by the trained friendly staff on traditional salt-making. Everything you want to know about traditional salt-making and more will be imparted to you this easily. Interesting indeed!

If you are still amateurs in Diving or snorkeling, no worries because you can find the oldest dive shop around Amed, called Eco-dive. The well-trained instructors there will teach you from open-water up to dive-master courses in several European languages. Maybe you can even take a sea trip with the Amed Dive Centre. This dive shop can arrange your dive trips down to the Padangbai, Tepekong Island, Menjangan, and Nusa Penida. You will not find luxury here, as this trip is for those rugged sea lovers only.

Candi Dasa Beach
Best known for its beautiful beach and fishermen village, Padangbai is actually a harbor for small and big ships. There are 2 sacred temples around Padangbai, which are called The Silayukti Temple and the Tanjung Sari temple. A 53km drive from Amlapura city with small hotels for accommodation during your trip. There isn’t much to see but the beautiful sandy beach is worth the visit.

Another magnificent, quiet beach with stunning views for you to encounter. There are many versions of how its name become Candi Dasa, one of them is that the name Candidasa was inspired by a statue near Lingga (inside the Candi Dasa temple), where you can find Hariti, a goddess whom is believed to provide welfare and prosperity for those who pray here. She is surrounded by her 10 children (dasa=10 in ancient Bahasa). A source from an ancient manuscript also states that Candi Dasa temple was built in the 12th century.

The magnificent Candi Dasa, is a small charming town where you can enjoy your stay for a day or two. There isn’t much to the town of Candi Dasa itself, just one road parallel to the beach, so your feet will do just fine. The best reason to stay in Candi Dasa is to take advantage of the peace, relaxation and historical riches of the eastern corner of the island. This site is famous for its beautiful temples and cheap hotels.

As for the Candi Dasa beach, you can spot the Lombok Island and Nusa Penida from the distance. At night, you can indulge in the beautiful stars in the sky as well as the dazzling lights from the local fishermen boat, called Jukung. It is a 12-hour drive from the Amlapura. Ever since it opened for tourists, many hotels were built along with restaurants and others. There are more than 50 small hotels and bungalows to choose from and superb restaurants too. If you have spare money to spend, try the Alila Manggis, 3km west of Candi Dasa. This exquisite hotel is the perfect escapade, with great facilities and a Balinese touch in décor. The restaurant is also known as one of the best in Bali. This hotel is highly recommended.
From Candi Dasa you can drive to Kamasan Village, which is the center of classical wayang painting style. If you are interested you can visit the Kamasan Art Centre to practice some of the arts, like gamelan, dance, silver crafting or painting.
