This location is very beautiful and stunning highly inappropriate for a family vacation who want to travel. This location is ideal and will never regret after the visit.

Hotel Description
Amankila or ‘peaceful hill’ is set on a cliff side overlooking the Lombok Strait in East Bal. This superb resort in inspired by the wealth of the area’s local tradition and the innocent of its unaltered habitat, created an exclusive ‘hideaway’ accommodation with breathtaking view across the enigmatic turquoise sea.
All 34 free-standing suites at Amankila are fashioned with a twist, reflecting the lines and flow of their East Bali surroundings. Suites are connected to the reception and restaurant area by stepped walkways. Wireless broadband connections are available in all resort accommodations and public areas.
Below the resort is its private stretch of sand and beach club. From the intimate, airy lobby, the views are already very much in evidence. The resort is close to Manggis, Candi Dasa, Tenganan and other villages in Karangasem, Bali’s most traditional regency.

Food and drink at Amankila

  • Dress code Slinky halter-neck dresses for Mrs Smith; crisp, pressed linens for her squire.
  • Top table For that sky-painted-with-stars, sunset-over-the-ocean romance factor, arrange to dine privately beside the pool or down on the beach.
  • Last orders The restaurant shuts at 11pm, but the bar keeps the ice cubes a-plopping until there’s no one left to enjoy them.
  • Room service A selection of enticing Indonesian and Western dishes can be brought to your suite 24 hours a day.
  • Hotel bar The open-air island bar beside the restaurant is capped with a thatched wooden roof and furnished in bamboo. Three nights a week, you can watch traditional Balinese dancing by the pool. On other nights, there’s the lilt of live rindik music.
